Knowsley Safari Park is a fun day out for the family, the 550 acre park has over 700 animals, ranging from wildebeests to baboons.
The drive-through lion enclosure is the ‘mane’ attraction, whilst some people enjoy the baboons. These can be seen on the Baboon Bus or by the car route.
However the Safari Drive isn’t the end, the Walkaround Area includes the Bat Forest, Birds of Prey Experience, Giraffe Tower and the Elephant Platform. There’s also the chance to see sea lions, meerkats and bugs!
There is also amusement rides and play areas for the kids to enjoy!
Currently closed, open again February 2015 for half term.
The safari drive usually opens at 10:30am and the last entry is at 03:00pm.
Amusement rides are closed during the winter.
Restaurant open from 10:00am – 04:00pm.
