Exhibitions at FACT Liverpool are developed by a range of international world-class artists, with the aim of increasing knowledge about new technologies and how they effect us socially.
In 2016, actor turned performance artist Shia LeBouf lead performance artwork ‘Touch my Soul’ as part of the exhibition ‘FOLLOW’ that explored how social media effects our perceptions, self value and online behaviour. During the exhibition, Le Bouf took calls from all over the world over 4 days at the gallery, asking callers if they could ’touch his soul’ which was streamed online.
Visitors can also pay a visit to three state-of-the-art cinemas at FACT, where own food and drink is permitted. The Box is an innovative space and there’s also the Garden by LEAF – a Liverpool based tea company!
