view the Famous Cavern Club
The Cavern Club is one of the most famous venues in Liverpool and probably the most famous club in the world thanks to the Beatles. The club was founded in 1957 as a warehouse cellar venue on Matthew Street before the Beatles became a signature act here. In fact, it was a performance at the club that caught the eye of the band’s manager, Brian Epstein. The Cavern Club’s role in the band’s history has made it a popular tourist attraction, with their success in traveling far and wide around the world.

The Cavern Club is open 7 days a week from 10 am and there is live music on the front stage. There is a small door charge from 12 noon every day – click here for price details. A free tour is available for a few days, which gives you a chance to glimpse the sights of the venue.

View the World Famous St George’s Hall
St George’s Hall is perhaps one of Liverpool’s best-known landmarks and a prime example of neoclassical architecture. As visitors exit the Lime Street train station or travel to the city center via bus, they will be greeted by this magnificent venue. St George’s Hall is one of Liverpool’s oldest buildings, opened in 1854 during the Victorian period. This hall is a blast in the heart of the city and creates many beautiful design elements for you to admire. Every city has a place where memorable events take place and St George’s Hall is without a major Liverpool destination. Tributes and wiggles have taken place here, thousands have lined the road to celebrate football’s success, and Ringo Starr performed on the rooftop in 2008 and opened the city’s European Culture Festival.

A wonderful building to see in itself, St. George’s Hall is a popular venue for events, conferences, award ceremonies, dinner receptions and more. It is also the perfect backdrop for a wedding commentary and is home to the Liverpool Register Office. There is even a great concert where you can enjoy some of the best concerts. From 1 August to 26 January the public has a great opportunity to participate in the Minton Floor Reveal event. This floor has 30,000 mosaic tiles, which have been handcrafted to display many exquisite patterns displaying liver birds, Neptune, sea apsaras and more.
