Wayfarers Shopping Arcade is a striking Grade II listed building and since opening in October 1898 has been attracting shoppers to sample the treats within its beautiful glass roofed environment situated in the seaside town of Southport, Merseyside on the famous boulevard of Lord Street in the town centre. The arcade is a near untouched building with the glass dome and Victorian shop fronts below it, creating a shopping arcade.

Open seven days a week, visitors can indulge themselves at more than 30 stylish individual shops and cafes set on two floors. Choices include some famous names and these are complemented by an array of independent retailers specialising in everything from designer fashions and shoes, unique handbags, traditional sweets, baby and children’s wear to homeware, gifts and sporting memorabilia.

Wayfarers is also home to a bronze statue of local Steeplechasing legend, Red Rum, who trained on the sands at Southport, with his unequalled record 3 wins and 2 seconds in the Grand National.
