Aintree hosts five racedays a year, with the most infamous being the Grand National in April. Additionally, Aintree is used as a conference and events venue and houses the longest nine-hole golf course in the country.

After a £35 million redevelopment many new features were added to Aintree; two new grandstands, a new parade ring, a winners enclosure and the Aintree Pavilion.
