Take Your Kids to See the Animals at a Liverpool Farm

Farms always make for fun outings, especially for children! This is the perfect opportunity for your youth to get up close and personal with many animals. There are many farms in Liverpool where children can interact with farm animals in a safe manner and engage in many fun activities. One of the most popular local farms is Farmer’s Ted’s Adventure Farm which can be found on the outskirts of the city. Farm Ted’s indoor and outdoor activity options include meeting animals, taking on the adventure maze challenge, watching birds of prey and playing areas. The farm is open from 10 am to 6 pm.

The Acorn Farm is an award-winning attraction in Kirby, which is open all week from 10 am to 4 pm. Children get an opportunity to walk and feed many animals in this farm. Other activities include a play area and horse riding. A variety of delicious food can be enjoyed at the on-site cafe and you can grab a memento at the farm shop. Croquet Park Farm is set in the grounds of the magnificent Croxteth Hall and Country Park in the north of the city. This Victorian farm houses many species and breeds and is recognized as a leading farm for conservation. Children can cater to a range of animals including cows, sheep, goats, pigs and chickens.

The Cavern Club is one of the most famous venues in Liverpool and probably the most famous club in the world thanks to the Beatles. The club was founded in 1957 as a warehouse cellar venue on Matthew Street before the Beatles became a signature act here. In fact, it was a performance at the club that caught the eye of the band’s manager, Brian Epstein. The Cavern Club’s role in the band’s history has made it a popular tourist attraction, with their success in traveling far and wide around the world.

View the World Famous St George’s Hall
St George’s Hall is perhaps one of Liverpool’s best-known landmarks and a prime example of neoclassical architecture. As visitors exit the Lime Street train station or travel to the city center via bus, they will be greeted by this magnificent venue. St George’s Hall is one of Liverpool’s oldest buildings, opened in 1854 during the Victorian period. This hall is a blast in the heart of the city and creates many beautiful design elements for you to admire. Every city has a place where memorable events take place and St George’s Hall is without a major Liverpool destination. Tributes and wiggles have taken place here, thousands have lined the road to celebrate football’s success, and Ringo Starr performed on the rooftop in 2008 and opened the city’s European Culture Festival.

A wonderful building to see in itself, St. George’s Hall is a popular venue for events, conferences, award ceremonies, dinner receptions and more. It is also the perfect backdrop for a wedding commentary and is home to the Liverpool Register Office. There is even a great concert where you can enjoy some of the best concerts. From 1 August to 26 January the public has a great opportunity to participate in the Minton Floor Reveal event. This floor has 30,000 mosaic tiles, which have been handcrafted to display many exquisite patterns displaying liver birds, Neptune, sea apsaras and more.

Visit a Stroll in One of the City’s Parks
There are many great parks that you can see in Liverpool. Why not spend a casual afternoon in Chavas Park? Situated in Liverpool Forest, the park offers spectacular coast views and is the perfect place to stop when taking a break from shopping. In the summer months you can choose spots on fresh green turf and have a picnic. Alternatively, some of the city’s best restaurants appear in The Terrace. Events here run throughout the year – last summer they built a sandy beach and a sub-zero ice bar!
