Liverpool Philharmonic Hall is a concert hall in Hope Street, Liverpool.
It is the home of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Society and has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade II listed building.
Located within the same vicinity of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra are The Metropolitan Cathedral and Liverpool Cathedral.
The award-winning Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra is the UK’s oldest surviving professional symphony orchestra and has been at the heart of Liverpool’s cultural life since 1840.
The orchestra gives approximately 70 concerts each season (September – June) in its home, Liverpool Philharmonic Hall, as well as concerts in venues across the city, including Liverpool’s two cathedrals.

The orchestra tours regularly throughout the UK and world-wide and has an extensive discography featuring many critically acclaimed recordings.
Their contemporary music group, Ensemble 10/10, also award-winning, is at the cutting edge of classical music, commissioning and performing new music by many of today’s leading composers.
The orchestra’s Chamber Music Series presents the world’s finest quartets, vocalists and recital artists in the beautiful setting of St. George’s Hall Concert Room.
The Family Concerts offer children aged 4-10 and their families the opportunity to experience orchestral music in a fun and interactive setting.

9.30am (for phone bookings) / 10am (for counter bookings) – 5.30pm, and for counter bookings up to 15 minutes after the start of the performance on concert nights.
Sunday
12noon – 5pm for telephone bookings only when there is no concert, and for counter bookings from 5.30pm on concert nights.
