From Africa to the Americas, Asia and Europe, the World Cultures gallery uncovers the customs, objects and achievements that have shaped our civilisation.

Visitors can bring age old civilisation to life at the Ancient Egypt gallery with huge collection of Mummies, jewellery, clothing and household objects which are amongst the finest in Europe.

Discover the wonders of the natural world in the Clore Natural History Centre, packed full of mounted and preserved specimens of all types of animals, as well as rocks, minerals, fossils and plants.

The Aquarium is home to fish from Australia to Anglesey, while an array of creepy crawlies live in the Bug House.

Then, blast off on a spectacular journey through space and time as the universe unfolds around you in the Planetarium.

Facilities
End your visit with a well earned break in either of World Museum’s two cafes.

On the ground floor you’ll find the Espresso Bar, which serves sandwiches, cakes and light refreshments.

On level five, a larger cafe that serves main meals can be found, while on level four, a picnic area is also available with a drinks machine.

Gifts Shop
There are two gift shops on the ground floor stocking an array of toys, books, games, models and other souvenirs to remind you of your visit.

Other facilities include elevators for fast movement of visitors. The museum is also wheel-chair accessible for less able visitors.
